This Merlot has a rich garnet colour.
The nose is a mix of fresh juicy cherry and red plum fruit. A juicy soft, fresh yummy dark chocolate palate with integrated tannins, structured acidity and a long finish

Malolactic fermentation took place in barrel and the wine was then aged for 20 months in predominantly 300Lt French oak barrels.
The new wood component is 10%

Amaryllis belladonna (March Lily)
An extremely beautiful and elegant, pink flower that occurs naturally around the Cape.
The cultivar Merlot is also seen as being elegant, refined and feminine.
The common name belladonna refers to a woman who has both beauty and character – much like our Merlot
